1. Clinton voted to give the President unprecedented powers to illegally invade a nation that posed no threat to U.S. security, bypassing Congress and openly defying our Constitution.
2. Clinton has continued to vote for massive appropriations for the continued Iraqi occupation.
3. Clinton has been complicit with the large majority of Democrats in posing no real opposition to the growing tyranny and power-hungry Executive branch under the Bush-Cheney regime.
4. Clinton has stated that “all options” are on the table for dealing with Iran, which is code for the nuclear option. Clinton will continue our illegal occupation of Iraq, and undoubtedly entangle us further in the Middle East.
5. Clinton has received millions from the Corporate Lobby. It should be obvious who she “represents”.
6. Clinton is the consummate politician. Her rhetoric and her actions do not jibe.
7. Clinton’s record as Senator, and her husband’s record as President both support the Neoliberal (Neo-Con) agenda. They are both pro Big Government and pro Big Corporate Monopolies.
8. Clinton has made no statement at any time regarding the amount of power that has been obtained by the Executive branch during the past seven years, and she’d likely be content as the next American Emperor. It is doubtful she would do anything to restore our rights and liberties.
9. Clinton is the media “darling”. This alone should be reason to question her motives and allegiance. Hint: it doesn’t lie within the bounds of the Constitution.
10. 1980 (Bush Sr. V.P.), 1984 (Bush Sr. V.P.), 1988 (Bush Sr. Pres.), 1992 (Clinton Pres.), 1996 (Clinton Pres.), 2000 (GW Bush Pres.), 2004 (GW Bush Pres.), 2008 (Clinton Pres.?) Notice a pattern?
Please note that the mere fact that Clinton is a woman has nothing to do with my top ten reasons not to vote for her.

11. With so many voters feeling so strongly about a change of course, is going back to a Clinton REALLY a change of course? No, it is just more of the modern American Political dynasty.
12. She has never been ultimately in charge of anything. One reason (of many) than Senators do not often become President is because the President is an Executive. A member of Congress is NOT an Executive. A Governor, for example, is…as is a Mayor.
13. The nineties worked well because of divided government. The best government is often a government that doesn’t do anything unless it is critical. A divided government helps to accomplish this.
14. The last Democratic president sold our soul to China. What will the next sell, to promote globalism? Surrendering Israel for peace? Giving up on Cuba? Working with Venezuela?
15. If you are voting about Iraq, she isn’t the vote for you. Strong change is not Hillary change.
16. Military spending will not go down (in real dollars anyway). No spending will go down.
17. If you are voting for her because she is female, that is irrelevant. I would like a female president, but we should all vote for someone who is like thinking. Hillary does NOT represent all women any more than Bill represented all men.
18. If you plan to vote for her because you miss Bill, please remember…she isn’t Bill. Bill has been president, and his time is up. Hillary may be married to Bill, but she has both demonstrated and asserted that she is in fact her own person.
19. If Hillary was willing to allow Bill to “explore the field” during his days as Governor, in the White House, and in his post presidential life, and she compromises herself so willingly, isn’t that as clear an indication of her character as anything? Shouldn’t we expect her to take the same course of action in a tough international negotiation (with, say, North Korea)?

From fellow liberals:
20. Hillary Clinton voted for Bush’s Iraq war
21. Hillary Clinton for Bush’s USA Patriot Act
22. Hillary Clinton voted to reauthorize Bush’s USA Patriot Act
23. Hillary Clinton opposed the international treaty to ban land mines
24. Hillary Clinton voted against the Feinstein-Leahy amendment restricting U.S. exports of cluster bombs to countries that use them against civilian-populated areas
25. Hillary Clinton is one of the most prominent critics of the International Court of Justice for its landmark 2004 advisory ruling that the Fourth Geneva Conventions on the Laws of War is legally binding on all signatory nations
26. Hillary Clinton supported Israel’s massive military assault on the civilian infrastructure of Lebanon and the Gaza Strip which took the lives of over 1,000 civilians, half of whom were children
27. Hillary Clinton opposes the complete repeal of DOMA (the Defense of Marriage Act) [though ill admit i fail to see how this is a liberal argument]
28. Hillary Clinton couldn’t be bothered to read the NIE before casting her pro-Iraq war vote

29.As First Lady, Hillary assumed authority over Health Care Reform, a process that cost the taxpayers over $13 million. She told both Bill Bradley and Pat Moynahan, key votes needed to pass her legislation, that she would “demonize” anyone who opposed it. But it was opposed; she couldn’t even get it to a vote in a Congress controlled by her own party. And in the next election, her party lost control of both the House and Senate.
30.In order to open “slots” in the White House for her friends the Harry Thomasons (to whom millions of dollars in travel contracts could be awarded), Hillary had the entire staff of the White House Travel Office fired; they were reported to the FBI for “gross mismanagement” and their reputations ruined. After a thirty-month investigation, only one, Billy Dale was charged with a crime – mixing personal money with White House funds when he cashed checks. The jury acquitted him in less than two hours.
31. people often ask why the Bill Clinton affair was so important, after all it was his business what did it cost us. “She refused to release the Whitewater documents, which led to the appointment of Ken Starr as Special Prosecutor. After $80 million dollars of taxpayer money was spent, Starr’s investigation led to Monica Lewinsky, which led to Bill lying about and later admitting his affairs.”
32.Hillary accepted the traditional First Lady’s role of decorator of the White House at Christmas, but in a unique Hillary way. In 1994, for example, the First Lady’s Tree in the Blue Room (the focal point each year) was decorated with drug paraphernalia, sex toys, and pornographic ornaments, all personally approved by Hillary as the invited artists’ depictions of the theme, “The Twelve Days of Christmas.”
33.Hillary also had Bill pardon her brother’s clients, for a small fee, to get financial support. Then Hillary left the White House, but later had to return $200,000 in White House furniture, china, and artwork she had taken.
34.Hillary played the “woman card” by portraying her opponent (Lazio) as a bully picking on her.
35.Hillary’s husband further protected her by asking the National Archives to withhold from the public until 2012 many records of their time in the White House, including much of Hillary’s correspondence calendars. (There are ongoing lawsuits to force the release of those records.)

36.Sleazy campaigning: Hillary stayed on the ballot in Michigan after Edwards and Obama pulled their names, then audaciously said the delegates she won unopposed should count retroactively. She, Bill and their surrogates have conducted a politics of personal attack that begins to echo Karl Rove, from distorting Obama’s position on Iraq and abortion choice, to dancing out surrogates to imply that the Republicans will tar him as a drug user.
37.NAFTA: Hillary can’t have it both ways in stoking nostalgia for Bill. NAFTA damaged lives and communities and widened America’s economic divides. Edwards spoke out powerfully against it. Clinton now claims the agreement needs to be modified, but her husband staked all his political capital in ramming it through, helping to hollow out America’s economy and split the Democratic Party for the 1994 Gingrich sweep.

38.She cheated. A resident of Arkansas one day, then after getting a multi-million dollar advance on a tell-all book (which apparently didn’t tell all), a purchase of a multimillion dollar home and voila, she was a New Yorker. So she could run for a Senate seat that was vacating. How does that classify her as representative of the people of New York?
39.No skill. Aside from talking a pretty good game and having lots of black pantsuits what skill does she bring to anything? She’s already said she isn’t Suzie Homemaker, she doesn’t cook, doesn’t seem to have any interest in children, education, the environment, etc. She just wants everything to be free for everybody except for those who have to pay for it. She hasn’t worked a job since the Rose Law Firm about 20 years ago – she and Bill have been living off the taxpayer for decades. She can’t dance, tell a joke decently or put people at ease. She can’t write, both her books were written by ghostwriters. She can’t even do her own hair and makeup (don’t believe me? look at some early pictures of Hillary).
40.Has no self-respect. While the woman has an ego bigger than the great outdoors, the woman has no respect for herself. She has remained married to a man who has continuously, openly and publicly cheated on her. Why? You have to ask yourself what self-respecting individual would remain married to a cheating, lying, unrepentant spouse? The answer – power. She is willing to give up her integrity and self respect for power. To me, not a good reason and one which will cause heartache to the nth degree.
